For Member of Parliament Marc Pena, we developed a clean, efficient website in 2024, focused on a single goal: strengthening the connection with the residents of his constituency.
Rather than a static showcase, we envisioned a dynamic site that puts the local area front and center. It features local news, accounts of field visits, and updates on legislative work at the National Assembly—all presented in an accessible way, free from unnecessary bureaucratic jargon.
The design is intentionally minimalist. Legible typography, carefully considered contrast, and a simple structure ensure that everyone can navigate the site with ease, including those less comfortable with digital tools. For us, accessibility was a non-negotiable requirement for an elected official’s website, which, by definition, is intended for everyone.
The site is also optimized for search engines, ensuring that searches related to the MP and his work lead directly to a reliable, up-to-date source.
It serves as proof that an elected official’s website doesn’t need to be overly complex to be useful; above all, it must be clear, fast, and easy to keep up to date.
